Marketing your content on social media is a great way to get people to see it and share it with others. There are many platforms that you can use, but the most popular seem to be Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest. In this blog post I will outline the best strategies for marketing your content on each of these platforms. Facebook: post a link to your content and then ask people what they thought of it at the end.
Twitter: start with an enticing tweet that ends in a call-to-action, include relevant hashtags, and don’t overuse any single hashtag, avoid marketing jargon. I might say “This is one powerful story about…” where you could replace ‘story’ with whatever type of content you’ve created (e.g., article). Add more than just text by including images or videos when possible so as not to make your tweets too boring/lengthy – for example, if posting about a blog post on how to successfully market your business’s website, include stats from the study mentioned in the article!
