This blog post will take you on a journey through the history of cars, from their very beginnings to where we are today! We need to make this longer.

This post will take you on a journey through the history of cars, from their very beginnings to where we are today!

The first car was built in 1886 by Karl Benz and it ran on gasoline. In 1904 there were only about 200 cars in America but they quickly became popular because they were faster than horses could ever be.

People started driving them everywhere:

Camping trips,

Vacations and

Picnics.

It wasn’t until after World War II that more people started buying them for commuting as well as pleasure driving-nowadays owning one is considered a luxurious status symbol (or is at least an expensive necessity).
